My Services

Thank you for considering using my services for your upcoming wedding. It’s a special time, and a time for family and friends to join, with you, in the celebration.

To reintroduce myself, “I am a celebrant registered with the NZ Government department of Births, Deaths and Marriages and a member of the Celebrants Association of New Zealand.

I am often described as having a very relaxed persona and am very easy to get along with.

My whole point is that the day is about you – not me.

I have performed traditional weddings and not so traditional weddings.  I will conduct your ceremony your way, after all – it’s your wedding. The day should reflect what you desire, I will take care of the legal side and you do the rest!

I am fortunate to live with my life partner at her property called Turret Lodge on the outskirts of Marton. The property can be used as a small boutique garden wedding venue.

ABOUT TURRET LODGE

We know how important your wedding day is and invite you to share the home to make your day extra special. The property is spacious and has exceptional grounds making it ideal for a garden wedding venue

We can work together to make the day happen. The formal front lawn area can hold a large marquee once decorated with a wedding aisle, and urns of flowers. After the ceremony you can capture moments throughout the grounds or within the homestead or use the garden as your backdrop – your choice.

Your outside caterers have amble area to create the wedding menu of your choice and serve accordingly.

Turret Lodge is a five bedroom homestead that has accommodation for several people on a shared basis.

You are free to book the required number of rooms that you require. If our accommodation is fully utilised by your guests, we allow self-contained caravans to stay. When you choose Turret Lodge for your wedding, we give you exclusive use of the house and grounds so you can plan your perfect day.

There are also B&B Accommodation, motels etc nearby in Bulls, Marton and Hunterville.

We would love to host your ceremony and reception and we’ll do our best to provide you with the options that work for you. We know that one size does not fit all. At the end of the day, it’s about you and your day that comes first – we will make it work.
